How it works?

 The process exploits the phenomenon of efficient conversion of electrical discharge energy in a water gap to create a strong mechanical wave known as a water hammer.
Exposure of water to a strong electrostatic field initiates molecular dissociation, producing reactive radicals such as O⁻ and OH⁻ even before a visible arc or significant ionic conductivity appears.
As the field strength increases, the quantity and diversity of radicals - including those generated from various inclusions - also rise, progressively altering surrounding materials.
After electrical breakdown, arc discharge further generates radicals from all water constituents and triggers localized surges in temperature, pressure and UV radiation (similar to arc welding), which drive the decomposition of processed substances through a range of physical and chemical mechanisms. Powerful phenomenon pose a significant hazard, causing electric shock that able to rock breaking. Fortunately, the shockwave velocity decreases very quickly as the wave propagates further away from the source.
